Someone who's not from India might say, biometrics and centralized IDs are great tools to offer benefits to citizens. This is true, but when it is not, when a government is not trust-worthy, because of its own history of doing things this way.
They said that all your other IDs will be made invalid if you don't "opt-in" to Aadhaar. They essentially blocked you from using all pre-existing, valid IDs. They now in this ingratiating way ask us, don't you see the convenience?

Windows 2000 felt like a tank. You'd boot it thinking it was meant to run servers and web sites, but you could run it on your PC, and play games on it. It was robust. You could finally boast of high uptimes like the Linux folk!

I strongly believe the nature of a society is best visualized through its traffic sense. Whether it's showing empathy, collaborating, cooperating, patience, discipline, following rules, the anything-will-do attitude, etc.
I'm expecting the sabotaging nature will have a ton of people consciously going out of the way to screw up everyone else.
