IHMC has been working on various legged robots for a long time. Back in 201X, my sister team worked on a running robot inspired by Ostriches (while I was on the Exoskeleton). Looks like they are mostly focusing on humanoid and Exo now. http://robots.ihmc.us/fastrunner
Here is a video from 2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4nvpZ6WL3U&list=PLj0k5lmLZg...

Some stayed at home to take care of the kids. Others upleveled and went for jobs that pay better wages. A bunch of people died as well, I wonder of this affected the job market.
I'd love to read a study on this specific topic.

E.g. AVMS in Europe. Youtube had to implement age verification.

I really enjoyed this SciFi book - Dark Matter: A Novel
In this world he’s woken up to, Jason’s life is not the one he knows. His wife is not his wife. His son was never born. And Jason is not an ordinary college physics professor, but a celebrated genius who has achieved something remarkable. Something impossible.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1101904224/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HY...
Another good one from the same author - Recursion: A Novel https://www.amazon.com/dp/1524759783/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_G0...

I read that the stimulus bill is offering a forgivable loan for small businesses if they don’t layoff.
Basically taxpayers paying for employees salary. Let me see if I can find the source...
This could be one of many reasons.
[edit] here we go, forgivable loan of up to 10 million, based on the company payroll https://www.inc.com/kevin-j-ryan/inc-chamber-of-commerce-sma...

Yes, it’s not new to manipulate people, the low cost for high efficiency is new. Clinton had almost 3M more votes than Trump.
It would be much more expensive to manipulate 3M (1% us population, 1.2% voters), rather than 70k (0.02% pop, 0.028% voters).
If winning the election is about properly manipulating 0.04% of the voters, that’s very scary and not working as initially designed.
Edit:math

It’s harder to manipulate millions of people rather than 70k.
You’re right, it was also used to get Obama elected. It’s still wrong.

Why aren't we talking about the Cambridge Analytica scandal example? Another issue of the Electoral colleges is that a candidate could target only a few amount of people (70k according to the documentary) for changing the course of the election.
Even if this has been fixed by Facebook. Shouldn't it be considered as a major flaw of the election system?
Source: "The great Hack" - Netflix doc.

Depends where you live. Spending $2k a month after rent in the bay area is common, especially if you are two.
$800/month in groceries, $200 gas/person, 2-3 dates (or restaurants with friends), utilities ($200+), Insurances ($200+)...
There are a lots of benefits from using wisely these cards without overthinking.

Stay strong, you have the will. Please seek help if you keep having these thoughts. You should be able to find free help on that matter.
Practicing sport keeps my mind focused and the negative thoughts away. I find it a great free anti depressant.
I subscribed to Indeed Prime, they offer free coaching (resume help, mock interviews...). With your background, you should be selected.
Have you got feedbacks from employers?
Did you apply to unemployment? Can you take a side job in the meantime (e.g. Uber)?
Don’t overload yourself and do a little everyday.
