Sure, and one person can plant and harvest a whole field with modern farming equipment.
These are apples and oranges. I guess it's an interesting footnote in their development, but humans and robots are NOT directly comparable, nor should the comparison to Usain Bolt be significant.

He doesn't care if WE live a satisfying, happy life, I think is the point here. From the very beginning he's had a sociopathic view of relationships. Over the years he's sounded empathetic, but we've learned how empty his pronouncements are- which serve to both soothe what little conscience he has and dupe users into not fleeing his platforms en masse.

>Thinking is costly.
>Thinking is tiring.
Thinking is ESSENTIAL.
Brain power is 100% a "use it or lose it" faculty.
Regardless of what role(s) AI plays in our future decision making/society planning, we can't become those Wall-E blobs on floating loungers getting fat and letting AI do all our thinking. We do that at our peril. We already see how bad human decision making is getting. What happens when we turn AI onto it and none of us are smart enough to be a check on catastrophic decisions?
Bad, bad thesis here.

Studies have been conducted about the safety of sticking to one time. The ones who are the most vulnerable are kids waiting for buses in the dark. We can't move to dynamic school times because we are still working the same paradigm as the industrial revolution- same schedule every day, year in year out. And society is simply too divided and fractured, and the motives too hidden and craven, to decide to move en masse to a dynamic schedule.

It's simple. The powers that be rely on the constant stream of bad news to convince the terrified population to give away what control they have. It's a spectrum- dictatorships use it, sure, but even democracies work with media to control the message, so people even continue feel the basic need to be governed. The whole thing is a psyop or sorts.
