The sequels got really strange and focused on voodoo god personas sort of running things. I probably read Neuromancer once a year just to revisit the place and always try to give the sequels another go but they just don’t grab me like the original did.

I remember a teacher telling us that parents should not check their kids Google classroom accounts because it would be a violation of the other students’ privacy. I understand what they were saying but there’s no way I’m not checking my kid’s Google classroom account. Ridiculous.

I’m in the same boat. If I put in contacts to correct my vision for distance I have to wear reading glasses to be able to see my phone or read a book.

Seemed like more of a gimmick to me.

Many times it would say something like Rain stopping in 10 minutes. Then 8 minutes later… Rain stopping in 15 minutes. On and on as it steadily rained.

Started reading a book by Irish humorist Ross O’Carroll-Kelley.

It’s full of Dublin slang specific to the 90’s I think. I don’t understand a lot of it but it’s fascinating to sort of listen in on the patois.

The novels based on these games were really good. I think they are out of print unfortunately.
