From what I've seen it only made people mad, not hyped, so the person that thought it was a good idea miscalculated a bit. Now waiting for Anthropic's post about their usage promo or something similar to redirect people to them.

I don't like any of current solutions when it comes to compaction. I'd love to have a way to say what exactly should be summarized, because most of the time I just need to compact some noisy MCP tool calls, test runs and things like that. Just let me pick what should be summarized and keep the rest as is.

Unfortunately with agents Meta can easily run hundreds of automated experiments on real browsers with each commit in the uBlock Origin's repo and each change in various filter lists to find clean workarounds and submit PRs with patches. You can try fighting this on the other side with similar approach, but why waste time and tokens, just stop using Facebook.

Does it have access to X API? One limitation in CC, Codex etc. is that they don't have access to X which sometimes has an answer not available via their search providers.

I don't think audio, image or video generation should exist. I haven't seen enough positive applications to justify the amount of harm these tools are being used to cause.

Not a fan of their context compaction and I feel like 1M-token context should minimum today. Each day I see how GPT 5.5 and 5.6 struggle a bit after each compaction before they get to the full speed, sometimes focusing too much on some older steering message that made it into the compacted context.

If I would have my tin foil hat on I'd say they can manipulate how the subscription usage gets calculate during the week, so that these resets don't cost them much or anything. Sometimes it feels like the usage just disappears with nothing to show for it.

Are they more expensive? I think it's a clever tactic that avoids sudden increased workload, because users may "save" their resets when they need some additional work done.
