Glad to hear the majority of Hacker News thinks it's ok to sexualize and catalog pictures of me without my consent. At least now I know who I'm dealing with here instead of merely suspecting it.

They can’t force you to produce a lawyer on the spot, and they can’t force you to call one in front of them. Your conversations with lawyers are secret and the police aren’t allowed to know anything about what you talk about. They have to reschedule the interview.

You don’t. You tell them you won’t be talking to them without a lawyer, and they have to drop it until you find one. They can’t demand that you magically produce a lawyer on the spot.

I'm with you on all of that, but that's not what the person I'm replying to is saying. They're saying that the subject of the article might be a bad guy so he probably deserves what's happening to him.

Probably would’ve still been harassed and wound up on the no-fly list, but yes, if the FBI tricks you into meeting them, walk away.

Oof, this takes me back to the day I learned about RAM the hard way. I was typing out a program from a magazine. It seemed like it took forever, even then. About halfway through the computer rudely informed me that 4K of RAM is not, in fact, enough for everyone.

It's not a kernel module, it's a compute kernel. Nothing to do with operating systems. They provide versions for android-arm64 and linux-x86_64.

The fine README says it builds and runs on Ubuntu 20.04.

On the aerodynamic side, this aircraft has a mass of 1.8 kg / 4 lbs, which is an equivalent weight of 0.7 kg / 1.5 lbs on Mars. That is also the force required to maintain altitude. Imagine picking up four or five apples; that's what we're talking about as a minimum to stay in the air. For comparison, a DJI Phantom weighs 3 lbs, and a Mavic comes in at 2 lbs.

I can't find numbers on the power system or materials so I can't speak to the thermal side or how much flight time that affords.

EDIT: Apparently there's enough energy to fly for 90 seconds (!) per sol.

I deleted my account a while back. (Well, whatever Facebook calls “deleted.” Incidentally, did you know you can’t delete your HN account, even if you email them and ask?) Curious whether there’s any data for me at all in this breach.
