dozens of apps on the smartphone is gross. an indicator for me of an elderly / technically illiterate smartphone user is the presence of a ton of apps, most of which were used long ago and seldomly.

What is the special sauce of cursor. As a harness I assume it's mostly context management right? And maybe some defensive coding to mitigate probabilistic llms? Is there any big difference between cursor and Claude code?

I used axios in the distant past but haven't used it whenever I had my say in the past five years. You don't need it, and for special things like retries I could roll my own just fine. Now ai will roll it for you

I can't remove the YouTube app off my phone. The mobile phone is a locked up landscape that hates general purpose computing that puts the owner of the device in control. In the same way the big LLM want to give you stuff for free / subsidized then become very opinionated about how you use this stuff then pave up the entire landscape and monopolize it for themselves. Screw that.
