Pihole only works if ads are served from a distinct domain name from content. This works in most cases but YouTube serves ads and content from the same place so pihole can’t prevent. As uBlock works client side it does not face this limitation

The find my network has existed for some time (2019 if I recall correctly) and was originally introduced so that the network of iPhones could locate lost MacBooks. Airtags can be located by the find my network using devices running older ios versions.
It is only the Airtag specific features which require 14.5 (I.e privacy features, pairing, identifying found airtag).
To me that’s clear. Firstly most of their target audience has no knowledge of what a URI scheme is and only care about the three words. Secondly would be the branding ///x.y.z is subjectively better branding then w3w://x.y.z

This is an app I developed after being frustrated with the official SecurID app from RSA. My work requires that we use RSA SecurID for 2FA when logging in (which is required much more in the WFH world).
2FA tokens can be viewed within the app, on the iOS home screen and as Apple watch complications.

Well to be fair if it was enabled by default it would break dial in (with traditional telephone) support as E2E doesn’t allow for that. This is a reason why even some large paying organisations haven’t enabled E2E
