<p>I use and pay for the professional review site <a href="https://www.which.co.uk/" rel="nofollow">https://www.which.co.uk/</a><p>They are a charity funded by subscribing consumers. They don't get paid by the sellers so the incentive structure benefits the consumer. I trust what they write.</p>

<p>As a UK customer, I use Monzo bank and have pretty consistently had good experiences. They are a new bank. Recieving international money transfers was the only bit that they didn't support.</p>

<p>I spent years worrying about misleading descriptions and fake reviews. I then bought a subscription to which.co.uk and have been a happy customer since. They review a wide variety of products and they are a non-profit registered as a charity in the UK. They are mainly funded by consumer subscriptions so conflicts of interest are avoided.</p>

<p>I personally bought all my team members a beer delivered to their houses. One guy didn't like beer and got whiskey instead. On Friday at 4pm we all had a casual chat about non work topics and drank together. That seemed to go down well.</p>
