<p>I don't really see that as a USP considering;<p>1. SpaceXAI has shown no track record of being able to maintain uptime<p>2. By nature, any GitHub alternative is going to be a tiny fraction of the scale, so keeping it up should be expected</p>

<p>What I've always found strange about this saga is that Apple's argument has been "we need to be reimbursed for our investments in R&D and maintenance of the App Store". I don't disagree, that seems fair. But they already DO charge explicitly for this... it's the developer program fee. Is this not the exact mechanism they should be using? As far as I can tell the court case didn't broach this.</p>

<p>Yes, this is what I find a little odd about the US proposals. I've lived in UK and Spain and in both they have great free public healthcare for everyone, and if you (or your employer) want to layer private insurance on top you can. Wouldn't that be a much more appealing proposal to Americans?</p>
