Modifying CV, applying, hostile forms, receiving rejection after rejection. Not getting what I am missing.

Leetcode in this scenario is puzzle solving game with clear rules, progress and success definition.

Some of the problems are genuinely fun, like dynamic programming. Some of them are just, "you have to know the trick".

In my case, i would never be able to even get an actual interview if not for these technical screens where you solve a problem and not try to persuade another human to give you a chance.

And still, I feel like hell today (and it is only Friday morning)

I used to run half a marathon every Thursday in a fasted (36 hours) state, but now I can't, I became weak and frail. Aging gets us all!

I think, if that thing could respond instantly, like my Emacs for its commands, then it would be a supercharged mega boost for productivity.

If it could work with the same speed as a shell, then it would be really awesome!

I DO use AI for some tasks. When I know exactly what I want done and how I want it done. The only issue is busy typing, which AI solves.

Yesterday I've spent 8 hours hoping that I could do a super easy task, I had to cry before I could focus and do that (it took me 15 minutes, mental preparation for it took me 7 hours).

The problem though, I haven't interviewed for 6 years and it is very likely that I will not find anything for at least a year.

Another problem, I don't feel like coding, ever. I've spent 15 years doing it and, in general, I am not passionate about it at all. I just don't want to do it anymore.

After I've written entire systems that serve ok (I hope). I just can't do a single if statement without DPDR symptoms anymore.

I am so thoroughly done, I just can't imagine doing this for another month. Boss knows, everyone else knows too. I sort of coast for a month and then it is likely that I am gone. I hope I will be gone on good terms.

The biggest question is what is next for me in life? I have absolutely no idea.

I tried for 8 hours straight to code just a little bit, but was unable to. I guess that is burnout, or, in general, understanding that I am not interested in all this computer stuff anymore after doing it for 15 years.

I know from my clinical history that I have mutations in the UGT1A1 gene that cause me to metabolize bilirubin differently. That is a relatively common mutation that occurs in roughly 2-3 percent of people. Unless I am lucky enough to have a random result that coincides with this, I could be fairly certain that this data is somewhat reliable. The problem thought, I don't know the degree of reliability.

this! but I find Clojure incredibly pragmatic, we grow our codebase, ship things, just the line of business work with Postgres/Clojure and Rum(React) on frontend.

We do it with super small team, where one person owns the entire sub system

it looks believable, but most of the ChatGPT4 stuff looks believable, which doesn't make it true.
