I’m winning a War, BY A LOT, things are going very well, our Military has been amazing and, if you read the Fake News, like The Failing New York Times, the absolutely horrendous and disgusting Wall Street Journal, or the now almost defunct, fortunately, Washington Post, you would actually think we are losing the War. The enemy is confused, because they get these same Media “reports,” and yet they realize their Navy has been completely wiped out, their Air Force has gone onto darker runways, they have no Anti Missile or Anti Airplane Equipment, their former leaders are mostly gone (This has been, in addition to everything else, Regime Change!), and perhaps, most important of all, THE BLOCKADE, which we will not take off until there is a “DEAL,” is absolutely destroying Iran. They are losing $500 Million Dollars a day, an unsustainable number, even in the short run. The Anti-America Fake News Media is rooting for Iran to win, but it’s not going to happen, because I’m in charge! Just like these unpatriotic people used every ounce of their limited strength to fight me in the Election, they continue to do so with Iran. The result will be the same — It already is! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Nintendo (and some others) used to do this in the early days of Let's Play. People stopped doing Nintendo Let's Plays for a while until Nintendo somewhat relented.

No - Windows 10 was initially pushed as the 'final version' of Windows. MS drove this home by saying 'Windows is a service' at each update.

They backtracked once they realised they're losing money by not having the sales bump from numbered upgrades i.e. the sales bump from planned obsolescence

macOS tends to view unused RAM as wasted RAM so it uses as much as possible which is different to the Windows approach. The integrated SSDs are also optimised for swap to aid with that. So the ideal outcome should be like you said, not having to care about usage

The film Zone of Interest is an excellent examination of this, the banality of evil.

Interestingly the backlash towards the director's Oscar acceptance speech - a plea for peace and anti-Zionism - ended up highlighting that such people can even congratulate themselves for such atrocities when forced to reckon with an opposing voice. I wonder if this letter had a similar effect (given it clearly didn't temper any of their upcoming bloodlust)

The physical presence of Social Housing Estates is the evidence - the occupants are those that aren't otherwise able to afford housing or pay rent. As the commentator says, even the City has Housing Estates.

As we speak the US is in breach of international law per the ICJ's legal conclusion that enabling and / or supporting "the transfer by Israel of settlers to the West Bank and Jerusalem as well as Israel’s maintenance of their presence, is contrary to article 49 of the 4th Geneva convention”.

Prior to which the US very publicly issued threats and sanctions on the ICJ and Judges in hopes of avoiding the judgement being published.
