Is there some way to jailbreak your tv and run som open source os on it? Or something like that?

Not exactly sure what I’m after, but the problem is acute and widely prevalent, so there has to be some solution.

My guess is just that they are quite serious about user testing the manuals. 3-4 iterations and you're good to go. Many companies would never imagine that you could test manuals.

Clear and interesting names is extremely good customer experience. Most companies name their products straight from the ERP system, creating incomprehensible codes that sounds like they come from Star Trek.

Ikea has pioneered so much within service design (design beyond the actual product). The in-store journey, the self-assembly, the assembly instructions, clear naming, clear product display, in-store restaurant experience. The list goes on.

After Ingvar Kamprad retired, he continued travelling the world to do store inspections. Full-day walkthroughs that started in the morning at the loading bay and continued throughout the store. Everything was inspected and a list of follow-up actions was created for the store manager.

What if someone reasoned similarly regarding hydrogen bombs? It would not be considered a serious argument.

Though, Altman has said that something like the IAEA for AI is needed.

Isn’t the whole point of HTMX philosophy to question whether you need interconnected components with shared state? Most apps are doing crud on a database at the end of the day.

In my home town the local steel plant has been connected to the district heating systems for half a century. This is extremely mature technology and widely used in parts of the world where heating homes is more important than cooling them.

Sure, people want a personal human answer. But not as much as they want the correct answer.

Also, I think that we want to communicate with a company (Human or AI), and not a person, quite often. As you’re supporting a business transaction, not making friends. There’s a certain anonymity that comes with the business transaction. I wouldn’t ask for a refund from a friend.

Good point. Future historians looking back will likely consider 2015/2016 to be the point when we entered the social-media-epoch. Both Brexit and Trump where mainly social-media-driven phenomenon.
