It's 3am and I've been woken up to deal with a production problem of reasonable seriousness. After login, I'm assaulted with the appstore's recommendations for things like sports news and various games they think I want to know about.

At the time, I couldn't imagine how anyone thought that putting this sort of thing onto their flagship server OS was a good idea.

I realized about then that Windows was lost, MS didn't have the desire to promote it, and it became clear that their only real play was Azure and spyware.

The c# code is ancient at this point and doesn’t use linq, which remedy his issues.

The language has added significant functional capabilities in the last 13 years...

It doesn't exist because the politicians decided (with the help of the person with the patent) to force it on the public by writing laws that said they all had to have this tech when it became viable.

In addition- just as with airplanes- when your life is on the line if a thing doesn't work, you're very conservative about change (oh please add a battery and electronics...)

Third- it doesn't solve a burning problem- if the market wanted it and without #1, it would be available.

It'd also be nice to explain what the project you're announcing is in the the link title.

For example, "Foobar v2 released!"- except, I have no clue what foobar is and I'm probably not the only one.

"Foobar- The Magnificent Music Player for Linux, v2 just released!" Would be way better.

rats had been there from the start and are a good (imo) explanation for what happened-- the tree and their seeds were preyed upon.

Saying that they killed all the trees to help the moai get into place (or similar) is ridiculous.

In addition, the first reports from the 1720+ timeframe (first contact and there abouts) estimated the population at a few hundred iirc, no trees, toppled moai.

touch bar is fine- it just CANNOT be used to replace actual buttons that matter- like ESC!

So gosshake, they didn't even put the stinking ESC in the same place, they had to indent it, ruining the billion times I've trained my hand to it.
