Love it! I'd appreciate a copy text button rather than the current share behaviour.
I'll also weigh in and say that solving sub-clues when you can see the higher-level answer is a good feature, and makes the game more crossword like. I wouldn't allow skipping that

I use Goodbudget. The appeal is that I can enter expenses from my phone, and my partner can do the same, and we can both see how much is left in each budget category. If we were to switch to a self-hosted version, it would run on a home server, but it would be accessible from anywhere. I don't think this is an option you considered.
Additionally, even if you use a third party host, it seems less likely they'd be snooping through your application data, as it would provide no benefit to their business of selling you hosting infrastructure. The providers of a budgeting app, on the other hand, have many reasons, benign and possibly not so benign, to be looking at your data.

Sorry, I have to get clarification - do you use 2-3 tbsp per cup, as in 20-30 tbsp for the pot, or 2-3 tbsp for the whole pot? The one sounds like normal coffee, while the other would almost be water in my books.

I haven't tried it, because it's outrageously expensive to get a cabin with a bed, and I don't want to sit in a chair for a week.
But it's pretty famous - we even have a song about it!
While I get your point, I think it's a case of the perfect being the enemy of the good. This project is miles away from being a Ring doorbell.
I guess the author found the ease of use of an ESP32 to be an acceptable tradeoff (or didn't consider its firmware to be a problem). Others may feel differently, and can modify their build accordingly.

That's an uncharitable interpretation. They likely mean they will buy Microsoft hardware until Microsoft becomes customer-unfriendly in this space.
Whether that's a much bigger signal than an upvote might be debatable, though.

Difference being that you could have downloaded lossless DRM-free copies of these albums. I see the streaming-your-purchases part as more of a convenience than a core service, though I can definitely understand if others see it differently.

I'm guessing your comment is tongue-in-cheek, but as someone who used to not like running, I'd like to share my experience.
What made it click for me is not pushing myself too hard. I used to run at an intensity I realize in retrospect I could just barely sustain. This worked, in that my fitness increased and I got faster, but it always felt horrible. This was the case when I ran alone, or with my partner - when we run together, we tend to subconsciously push each other to go a little faster.
Then, we started running with a much more extroverted friend who likes to talk a fair bit. This put a natural limit on the intensity, and apart from enjoying the socializing, I also felt physically better. It also worked fine for fitness, and I got a PR on a 10K race while training this way.
Now I find that even when I run on my own, I'm much better at finding a pace I can sustain comfortably, and I enjoy it!
As a casual runner, I'm very happy I've come to this realization, but I'm sure the experience is very different for someone who is either very unfit and finds any speed uncomfortable, or for someone who's training seriously and needs to push hard to attain their goals.

Curious as to why you're having to type these every day. My experience is that the vast majority of sites only require a code once every 2 weeks to a month per device.
And apart from Steam, all my codes are Google Authenticator compatible, meaning there are several different options for an authenticator app that will hold all my codes. Seems as centralized as I would ever want.
I have considered going the Yubikey route, but it seems like it might be cumbersome when used across a range of devices.

I'll agree that thump was a poor choice of words, but child abuse? Seems like a completely unwarranted assessment.
I'm guessing they meant something along the lines of a tap on the head to get the child's attention, not a painful physical punishment.

> > Also consider that there are no good audio drivers for Linux (like Asio for example) so you're almost forced to stay in windows or Mac...
> This is false.
This was my immediate thought as well. Not sure what level we're talking here, so sorry if I'm addressing the wrong part of the stack, but JACK on Linux has been a great experience for me in terms of latency and ease of use. I run into way more day-to-day problems on Windows.
What feature specifically are you missing on Linux?
Re: plugins, DAWs with VST sandboxing are great. I use Bitwig, and I've never lost work due to a plugin crash.
