It is not like it is a P2P mesh network.

Land leases are expensive for tower placement, and they need electricity and a backup generator, to power the comm. equipment and the air conditioning.

And then we can talk about HVAC maintenance.

I keep a certain amount of icepacks in the freezer, in case the power goes put, but also because the thermostat seems to swing a bit.

If they spent 3 days on the PDF during work, I would have a talk.

But, an hour or two here or there, I have no issue with that.

I am a bit rogue, and buy PDF books for my team on trendy tech, some applicable to their day to day, but mostly what is trendy in job postings.

I don’t try to hold them back.

I was also able to send a team member to SF earlier this year for a week to a ML bootcamp.

And last year, I got a few members from multiple teams to attend a 3 day state security con.

Beyond that, I do try to be a mentor, and try to engage by answering why we do what we do and the historical context of how we got there.

I guess I also have some informal documents that are part of a curriculum, but there is no official single source of truth.

$10 per mask seems reasonable in the current environment.

I consistently see them priced for around $18 per mask.

In March, I bought a 2-pack from Tractor Supply for $8.

It took 2 months for me to receive a tactical gas mask, but it also has eye protection, and a variety of filter options.

The market rate for a single N95 mask in the US is approx. $18.

This has happened to me with gmail. Zipfiles I had sent in the past are no longer allowed to be downloaded from my sent items folder through the standard interface.
