I imagine a lot of their users (like myself) use Plex because it was the best option 10 years ago and premium was $40 during sales

I personally just have a discord with myself as the only member. With their webhooks API you can even automate the PC side.

It's the unofficial "where's my mouse pointer" macro

At least one DE I've used (MacOS? KDE?) even had it as an official macro that would make the pointer 10x bigger when you shook it

Just goes to show how much our online behavior and trends are determined by algorithms. The translate button has been there for years, but I guess some engineer flipped the "show international tweets on the timeline" button last week and this is the result.

More important than healing is avoiding damage entirely.

The keys to getting through noita are getting a fast wand to repel enemies and a wand that can dig through stone quickly. There are spell components with negative mana cost and cast time, stack as many of those with a single projectile type spell and you'll make a blaster that can kill enemies safely. The digging wand will let you skip tough sections, tunnel to areas with good loot, let you return to the "sanctuary" zones to edit your wands (if you haven't gotten the "edit anywhere" perk), and such.

Once you have those, you can make more utility wands that let you fly via recoil and whatever else you need.

USB-C devices tend to be mobile. Flexing and disconnecting are much more common.

Who said anything about multiple NICs? Ethernet port and Wifi modem in AP mode are more than enough

If the world were to truly come to those stakes, I would just forgo wireless entirely. Running Cat5/6 through the walls is barely an inconvenience, and cell phones are compromised by design, needing to communicate with a cell tower.

I don't think the hardware matters so much as the firmware, which is solved by installing OpenWRT on anything that supports it.

If wireless security is the concern, maybe other people here know better but I don't believe anything convenient will be "secure" in the strongest sense of the word.

The average consumer doesn't want a router full stop. Their ISP hands them an all-in-one modem+router+switch+WAP box and they just accept that the internet lives inside of it.

I have roommates who are engineers and I had to explain to them the difference between Wi-fi access point and LAN when I replaces our wireless router with a router + 3 APs.

You can theoretically use any computer as a router. I've used a Raspberry Pi as a router through a single NIC with VLANs.
