Samsung is good, except:

- No Dolby Vision support, only HDR10+ - Issues with judder/micro stutter - History of nerfing TVs via OTA updates - HDMI ports randomly failing - Bad HDMI-CEC implementation - Selling completely different panel generations under the exact same model names.

On a more serious note: No, I don’t see Markus Allard or the Örebro party as a threat in isolation. The broader right-wing populist movement they are part of, on the other hand, is very concerning. The normalization of racism, vilification of independent journalism, widespread acceptance of "alternative facts," and nonchalant attitude towards the democratic processes within this movement are particularly worrying.

Yeah, and their leader just happens to be a man disgruntled with the inefficiency and bureaucracy of democracy, mostly famous for his intense emotional political speeches, who blames most if not all of society's problems on his political opponents and/or ethnic minorities.

3d population density would be an interesting measure, though. It would provide a better feel for how cramped a populated volume actually is.

It would have to be the displacement volume, to account for cities with only a few really tall buildings, and also somehow adjusted for buildings with high ceilings.

It's been a few years since i last tried, but I was pretty satisfied with TBS PCI-e tuners [1]. Good linux support, stable, and you can get them with multiple tuners to stream/record many channels at once.

Just dry the fungus and burn it. The process is fairly analogous to photosynthesis in plants, so we've basically already been doing this since we learned to make fire, just with a different source of radiation.

Handling nitrogen is more dangerous than CO2 for the same reason it is more humane for the animals; you don’t notice you’re being asphyxiated. Not that it is impossible or even particularly difficult to handle nitrogen safely, but it would incur a cost (training, equipment, ...), and inevitably result in accidents when these costs are skimped on.

Unless legislation changes, it's simply better business to let the animals suffer.
