> EU safety regs are pass/fail - there's no sources stating Tesla have exceeded anything there, they need to pass in order to be sold in Europe, so they've done whatever the minimum required is for that.

That falls under the purview of my phrasing "meet or exceed the absolute highest safety regulations in the US and in Europe". They meet European regulations and exceed US regulations.

That first video is terrific - but it demonstrates bringing the pressure vessel far beyond design limitations. Would you like to see what a tank of gasoline does when taken far outside design limitations?
The other two videos are triggered by the copv failing, but the explosion is due to the methane and lox.
My point still stands. The composite overwrap either survives a collision (crash tests will determine this) or doesn't (the vehicle will not be legal for sale in the US and Europe). The crash conditions are inside the design limitations, just like the batteries are and just like a standard fuel tank is.

LPG explosions are real combustion due to tank rupture (often due to installation damage or rust). A nitrogen COPV can not rupture (that's why the CO in COPV is there) but it can leak. And that COPV, when it leaks, will be a rocket. But not an explosion.
10,000 PSI? That is beyond absurd. I can not imagine what alloy and how wrapped that pressure vessel is... Or what type of crazy pump is recharging it!

I once met a woman named Bar. You guessed it, we met at a bar
Another girl I went out with during the same time period was Ifat - and yes, she was heavy set. Moran was actually quite bright, despite her name. Shiran actually did jog, and Hadass did have a nice figure. Tal was shorter than I expected, but Lital was bigger than I expected. Nofit, well, she had great legs at least.

Not to mention the mass. Perhaps the pressure vessels could be relatively lightweight, but a pump that could charge such a pressure vessel to the pressure and capacity needed for this type of stunt will not be lightweight.
And mass is one of the top engineering concerns for these types of performance vehicles, even those which do not need to fight gravity.

That's true for smaller readers such as the Kindle or B&N Nook - I've had half a dozen Nooks. Now I use a 10" Boox device. I love the thing, but only when it's on the table. It is too heavy and far too slippery to hold. I even stuck sticky plastic table covering onto the back of the thing to make it nicer to hold instead of the cold, slippery aluminium. But it's still far too heavy.
My next device will be no heavier than 200 grams, and will not have a metal backing.

I use a black and white Boox tablet, I absolutely love it. I've had it for almost four years. My workflow includes reviewing documents, I annotate heavily. I wish I had just some yellow or orange for highlighting.
A colleague has the colour version of the same tablet, with a Kaleido 3 screen. It's terrible. It's unusable indoors without the backlight.
