when your whistle blowing only reveals secrets of one side, then i am very skeptical of motivations.
where are the dumps from north korea. where is kim jong un's private communications with Xi Jinping. Where is Putin's communications with Lukashenko.
Where are internal memos from the people's liberation army. Where are the leaks from the Ayatollahs.
Also yes the targets were western governments. What about western corporations? Where are leaks from Boeing about their issues? Where are leaks from Facebook about PTSD of their moderators? Where are the leaks about Peter Thiel or Elon Musk or whatever?
The targets WL chose were basically the "evil west", you know, the only reason Ukraine has not been reduced to a prison complex.

RMS - "Many years ago I posted that I could not see anything wrong about sex between an adult and a child, if the child accepted it," . . . "Through personal conversations in recent years, I've learned to understand how sex with a child can harm her psychologically. This changed my mind about the matter: I think adults should not do that."

The US version of "subsidized by the government" is that the government guarantees gigantic piles of money to be loaned to 18 year olds and then says they have to pay it back.
This tends to attract an enormous amount of non-education related work like loan servicing companies, bloated school administration, etc. Now schools mission is not just to educate it is to get a piece of that huge loan pie. It creates perverse incentives like universities competing on how fancy their dorms are or whatever meanwhile they are trying to drive down all costs like turning full time professors into part time employees who have to get second jobs to make ends meet. Kids become just loan delivery mechanisms to administration.
What a subsidy would be is just... giving the money directly to the schools. Like is done with high school.

whats funny about sound is in an environment with multiple creatures it can be hard to isolate one from the other, but with visual pictures it is somewhat easy.
in pictures you have a 2d projection of 3d information, with time as optional. animals dont have the same 3d position at the same time so its rare for one to be occluding the other in the projection.
in sound you have to have time, sound without time has basically no meaning. but with one mic its a 1 dimensional signal varying over time, coming from a 3d environment. where creatures easily overlap each other in the time dimension.

i would say yes, a lot of things fail from a lack of kindness.
Tesla self driving
Tesla robotaxi
Tesla park summon
Tesla cybertruck
Tesla solar roof tiles
Boring company
etc etc
One of the main things that Toyota Production System brings to manufacturing is the concept of respect, everything is supposed to be based on respect for each other. Maybe people fall short of that alot of the time, but that is the goal and intrinsic to all their other techinques like genchi genbutsu, kanban, just in time, waste elimination, etc.
