Just based on this conversation we are doomed. Nobody even agrees with you that there is a spending problem. They all think the "wealthy" magically have a ton of untaxed cash flow to solve the insane over spending. There will be no reckoning, no reform so obviously hyper inflation is going to be the out. Scary.

SpaceX already has 10,000 satellites on orbit that are basically preview versions of space data centers. They've already paid 5 years of that 5-10 year timeline you outlined.

I mean we used dist^2 all the time for comparisons in our game engine back in the 90s (multiple different engines actually).

I also have >30 years and I've had the same experience. I noticed an immediate improvement with 4.5 and I've been getting great results in general.

And yes I do make sure it's not generating crazy architecture. It might do that.. if you let it. So don't let it.

As someone who has managed engineers for many years I find those skills immediately applicable to the LLM domain. If you aren't used to communicating what you are trying to build to other engineers I think using the AI is harder as you need to develop those skills.
