Deforestation is the only major relevant factor that led to the formation of any desert in Spain, and this started a "long" time ago, and is purely and simply controlled by humans. For example, the famous Tabernas desert is the result of deforestation, followed by intensive erosion.

The problem of Spain is intense anthropogenic land (mis-)use including deforestation and mining, which led to the desertification especially in the south in the first place; this has been happening since pre-historic times. So, no, there shouldn't be deserts in Spain right now, and they are for the most part not natural.
Currently I am in somewhat of a predicament, in that I have so many things I want to do in a day, after work, but once I finally have the time, I'm unable to choose and just start to aimlessly surf or go to bed early. These things include gaming, learning specific things like a new language, creating a blog post, working on personal website, woodworking, more sports, list goes on and on. This has become more and more severe as time goes on for me, and leads to a form of regret that I've again wasted time.
How do you deal with this? How can I focus on one specific think after work?

For Japanese companies, it seems to be common to ask candidates to complete coding assignments before any interview. These assignments are usually extremely complex, and would take maybe 2-3 days to complete, depending on the candidates experience.
Combine this with relatively low salaries even for experienced developers, I don't think it is something anyone should want to do, no matter how much you'd love to go there.

If people on here are so keen on calculating CFR and not R0 to estimate how bad the virus is, they should also take into account logistic and demographic problems of every area. Hence, the CFR of New York might be so bad because of terrible medical infrastructure in the first place, and additionally patients who are not willing to go to the hospital because of fear of bankrupting themselves. Certainly not saying this virus is "just like the flu" because it is not and it is killing a lot of people. But epidemiologically this is much more complex than all of us are able to understand as non-epidemiologists.
Also, here's are actual estimations of R0: http://www.dkriesel.com/corona

Fact is, that when I know when something feels unusual. And when this happened, I had no idea what the Covid symptoms are like. And at the time, I also didn't think that it was this. Only after several people in my community reported the same "symptoms" did I become suspicious.

What exactly is this dull chest pain? I've had symptoms of lower chest and back-pain more than a month ago, with a strange feeling of not being able to get sufficient air through my nose as well as seemingly high blood-pressure and heart racing in late afternoons. This all lasted just short of a week, but took a couple of weeks in total until I could say it was gone, with a persistent minor dry cough. No idea if it was Covid but the symptoms sound strangely familiar with what other people experience elsewhere in my community. Could be panic attacks as well, obviously, but it felt strange.
