Can we start with TUIs? At some point Claude code CLI stopped responding to the keys I had been using to scroll the presented plan and it seems only the mouse wheel works

IMHO, the verbosity is an attempt to make the results more deterministic. The more specific the prompt, the less wiggle room.

That argument is letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

I've set up a second user on my machine just for running AI. That way I have the additional layer of OS protections against it doing something like that.

I am saying there are unintended consequences to such changes. If all the grocery stores all at once raised prices 5%, your margins might turn negative. And most of your neighbors.

Some companies run at an extremely narrow margin. For example the margin for grocery stores is reportedly 1%. If you changed the tax system to tax gross revenues, now those stores would need to dramatically raise prices to accommodate.

It's not an easy problem.

Because if you are someone that generates good content you might not know anything about designing or hosting websites. But they can ask an AI to do it for them so they can focus on what they are good at, generating interesting content.

One part of me wishes for multiple levels of logical commits.

When using GH we essentially have one level. The PR is the like a roll-up commit and then we have the component commits it consists of.

It would be nice to be able to say this commit consists of N component commits. Then users can expand or collapse the commits depending on what level of detail they want.

So user A who likes to keep a record of how they actually went through the process with all the warts can have those "messy" commits as component. And user B who likes to see a coherent story told by the commits without unnecessary steps can look at the higher level commit.

But also, git is complicated enough so maybe not.

In this situation, it is unlikely that is it scalpers with the really desirable court side seats that fetch the highest value. It is season ticket holders and people with connections. The price you see is essentially, "it's going to cost you this much to make me miss watching my team in the championship".

For the other seats that were available to the general public, sure, it's likely scalpers as with any other event.

Yes, technically payroll taxes are not income taxes.

And people who that x number of people do not pay income tax are implying they are paying no federal taxes when that is not true. It is a disingenuous argument.

I feel sad that what I think of as the obvious solution, companies using subdomains like internal.microsoft.com instead of making a million different domains, is so far from happening that no one here on HN has even brought it up.
