I really like pi, though it does require some time in setting it up. But it has greatly reduced my token spend. The relevant Deepseek Harness https://www.deepseek.com/en/harness/ I hear is also good and popular.

2 years in, the founders and 30 researchers took Google's $2.7b and left. Then they had to ban kids which was probably most of their userbase. Yet they were still putting $1m/mo on the corporate cards with 86 full time bay area employees on ~$278k average base, and almost $100k owed to DoorDash. lol

I can't get GPT-6 models to do any work with compilers or anything deemed hacky, so I'm surprised it completed this without any refusals. I guess since it was just off-the-shelf stuff, it went through.

Yes, I use open-source projects, and as part of that, I either find bugs or want features. I don't think an agent should be recreating or forking React, for example, just for me - that's not realistic.

The idea of "you will only ever use your phone to prompt your AI agents to access everything you do on the computer" is not appealing to me. I like being at a desktop and not a 6 inch screen. If anything I would like to be on my phone less, not more.

Resets are still viable. They've become shorter over the years as css has advanced. Obviously if you write Tailwind you don't need a reset.

For small/alternative stuff, since nesting/has()/ field sizing and such is native now there's not much to do there, so what's mostly relevant is some classless sheets like what this article is about.

CSS in JS is also still a big thing.

In the last 3 months svelte + kit have had 302 issues and 1,107 PRs opened (802 merged), 512 distinct humans opening/commenting/committing, and almost 100 unique code contributors. So yes, people care.
