In various industries, colors are used to differentiate between various voltages so it's obvious whether you're working with high voltage, low voltage, etc. so you can determine the necessary precautions for whatever you're dealing with (and some will also make the connectors incompatible so you can't accidentally join high and low voltage sets of wiring). I'm not super familiar with the automotive side, but I believe they use orange for high voltage and light blue for 48v.

I believe it's more the states with no state income tax at all plus those that have a state-provided version of "direct file" already available.

If those were the only records, you're probably correct, but there are sources other than the national archives that can be used in some cases such that I'd still do a search, especially for high level awards like silver stars and up.

For high level awards, there are some separate databases that list the recipients and citations. Have you looked at those? E.g. https://valor.militarytimes.com/award/5

Mastodon is federated, so users of their instance are able to interact with the wider set of Mastodon instances, much like people with @google.com emails can interact with people with @microsoft.com emails, despite both instances being separately controlled and not open to people outside their respective companies. Not having an account on an instance, in other words, is not the same as it not being accessible.

Correct, this was the first direct-to-GEO launch, so they needed the extra dV to get there. Left nothing in the tank for a landing, so to speak.

Speaking of reference frames, I deal with quite a few for Earth-bound things, and the primary ones we use are ECEF (Earth-Centered, Earth-Fixed) and ECI (Earth-Centered, Inertial), which then we will often move to a relative local frame for whatever object matters.

Is the equivalent set available for Martian Nav (MCMF/MCI, I guess), or do you have different/specialized/etc. frames based on something unique to Mars.

As far as the download, is this equivalent to "Method 2" of downloading it via the built-in browser, so it's not in the Kindle Library and won't have a cover, (but it will still remember the reading position)?

How does it work with SE Books? Are you able to do it wirelessly while still maintaining the azw3 features given SE's Kindle FAQ indicating it doesn't work with send to Kindle[0].

I parsed it the way you did at first, but on second reading, I believe it could be rephrased to "the work of 100 engineers simultaneously attempt" to make it clear the simultaneity referenced all the various systems working together.

In case anyone is wondering, since it was a photo op flight, there's a photo of it shortly after the midair collision, missing a vert stabilizer. The fireball is the F-104 that contacted it.

Raspberry PIs have had a similar thing with VC-1 and MPEG-2 decoding requiring a small fee for about a decade now. In this case, to cover the patent licensing cost so as to not add it into the base hardware, but paying a fee to unlock features resident in the hardware is not new in computing. (I realize there are likely other/older ones I'm sure, but that was the first in my mind)

lxd has only been available by snap in ubuntu for a couple major versions.

Right, he denied the TRO, but that doesn't change the prior ruling regarding the accuracy of the tweet. Also "accuracy of the tweet" is a horrible thing to have to be debating in a court of law.

Because he keeps going around saying that in public, there was a recent request for a restraining order to stop him from repeating it since it poisons the jury pool. It quoted the US District Court's ruling from 1 April of this year[0]:

"the evidentiary record demonstrated that no reasonable jury could find Musk’s tweets on August 7, 2018 accurate or not misleading. Likewise, given that Musk was intimately involved with the facts leading to that conclusion, the Court also held that he recklessly made the statements with knowledge as to their falsity"

Which is to say, a federal judge has ruled that it was inaccurate, and he knows it was inaccurate.
