Is this copy/paste with highlight available globally or limited only to terminals?
I can do this with text highlighted in iterm. Highlighted text can be copied in other apps as well with Shift + Command + “v”. Or with terminal app, where the shortcut only works when used within terminal app itself.

Figuring out that one of the services i was maintaining needed http connection pooling for calls to an external service to get within acceptable levels of performance. Spent a fair bit of time and effort to reach the conclusion and should have probably known to use it from the start, with it being a best practice followed in some other services already. Still, the whole process of finding/fixing the bottleneck left me very pleased.

The improved support for external monitors alone is enough to make one not want to go back to X11. No more fiddling with xrandr to fix scaling issues. Or being forced to settle for lower refresh rates if any one of the monitors or cables can't support higher rates. Moving to wayland has definitely resulted in a much better experience.
