I have been working on using openclaw and Claude managed agents to help me run a one-person startup. As a repeat founder, I know a lot of tasks that are very well suited for agentic systems.
so far it has been an interesting journey and I have had some success but the whole process has led me to write a lot of software around my own process so that I can scale it.
Might turn that into a product itself.

This is going to be a huge problem in every sector. I have been exploring solution in this space for fintech and so far what Resemble AI is doing [1] is probably the best way to defend.
The surface level for us is not just LLM generated text, it is also the combination of AI augmented audio (for incoming calls) and then for our own voice agents being able to protect and identify services cloning our own agent voices with watermarking.
It's not fun, as we are constantly catching up.
[1] https://www.resemble.ai/detect/

I'm exploring the idea of assigning AI agents a unique email address as a way to facilitate communication with users. The concept is to let these agents interact via email - a channel that most people are already comfortable with - instead of relying solely on new or unfamiliar interfaces.
Here are a few points I'm considering:
- User Familiarity: Since email is a tool nearly everyone uses, could this approach lower the barrier to adoption for interacting with AI agents?
- Asynchronous Communication: Email naturally supports non-real-time interactions, which might help in managing multiple tasks or inquiries without needing immediate responses.
- Integration Benefits: Many existing systems and workflows already incorporate email for notifications and confirmations. Would providing AI agents with their own inbox simplify integration into these established processes?
- Real-Life Example: Imagine a scenario where different AI agents manage various aspects of your daily work. One could handle scheduling, another could deal with project updates, and a third could manage customer inquiries. Each agent would send you email summaries, reminders, or even initiate actions (like booking a meeting), all through the medium you already use regularly.
- Potential Drawbacks: Could this lead to email clutter or introduce security challenges? What measures would be necessary to ensure that the system remains efficient and secure?
I'm keen to hear your thoughts and any potential concerns or alternatives you might suggest. Is this a solid direction for facilitating user interaction with AI, or am I overcomplicating things?
Looking forward to your feedback!

I have been out of windows ecosystem since XP. I am wondering what's the experience like moving back to Windows ecosystem for a developer. I mainly work with web apps (NodeJS, PHP, Rails, MySQL, Postgres, React etc) and occasionally have to work on some React Native or Ionic mobile apps.
Anyone switched from Apple ecosystem to MS Windows recently? Pros? Cons?
Also, I would need to continue working on a laptop so what's the best comparable laptop that can replace my MacBook 15inch M2 machine?

Do they have families?"

TLDR: your intuition is irrelevant / incorrect.
I ran and exited a startup with a young family. My daughter was 4 yrs old when I sold my company and I started it a year before my daughter was born.
My strategy was to divide my work day as best as possible:
Priorities:
1. Time with wife and kid
2. Customer calls
3. Everything else
I started to wake up early to have an hour to get myself organized. I would then block 6-9am for breakfast with family. 9am-3pm (6 hours) of customer calls/coding etc. 3pm-10pm totally available for family and I would only skip for essential calls (i.e. the hell is about to break lose and I think I had one day every month like that lol). 6pm-7pm was bed time for my daughter that I was responsible for and I am still responsible for it till today. 7pm - 10pm was time with wife, completely available for her for anything she wants. 10pm-2am work on my startup again. This was the most productive time for me as everyone was sleeping and my customers didn't expect me to reply back to them either.
It wasn't easy. Could not have done this without my wife who decided to stay at home with kid to help with everything.
I ended up selling the company about a year ago and we made a decent return back that ensured that we are mortgage free, having enough saved for my daughter and now I am actually getting my proper night sleep.
Itching to start something new though..

Disclaimer: I know that this is not the best place to seek financial advice. This post is not meant to be a 'give me a recipe'; it's more like a collective thinking post.
So I currently have 2 rental properties netting me $3100/month in rental income. These properties are paid off, so no mortgage payments.
I do live in a HCOL city so my current rent is $5k/month and with kids school, grocery and entertainment it comes to $5k/month; so a total of $10k/month.
Our current liquid cash holding is approx $1.2M.
Wife and I want to start traveling during the summer holidays, but wondering how to best plan for it. i.e. how do we plan it so it makes sense financially.
We also are trying to figure out how to best deploy our cash so that it enables us to make world trips during summer holidays.
Has anyone else planned something like this for their family? How much should we budget for a decent trip to places like Toronto, Vancouver, New York, London, Tokyo etc..
Would love to learn from your experience and discuss how to setup for future.
