I’m dubious. Millions of people in the country are on wells and don’t use any fluoride, also fluoride isn’t present in every municipal drinking water supply.

I don’t understand the controversy of raising money even if the charged crime is a capital offense.

Nobody even knows all of the facts yet other what is being reported by the media, which is not the arbiter of truth.

If you include mobile games on ARM64 the the number of Linux gamers is significantly higher than x86.

I use a simple inotify script on the receiving FTP server that waits for a new file descriptor to close and then uses rclone to upload it.

I love this idea! All of my IP cameras just FTP to my server where they get immediately uploaded to my google drive. It works perfectly and it’s cheap but they’re still Chinese cameras connected to the Internet.

Is there a list of cameras that can be converted like this?

I also never understood the disdain for it. I feel like 15 minutes of reading about systemd keywords and I was on my way to making some very usable and reliable systemd scripts.

I don’t use sysv init anymore but I don’t feel like I ever fully understood those scripts.

Many people have such broken relationships with their parents that they refuse to believe their parents can offer them good advice.

Before they take a parenting class, they might be better served taking a counseling class to repair their relationship with their own parents.

In my case experts are people who raised well adjusted children and are still happily married! It can even be your own parents as much as people (very prideful) don’t want to admit that.

I swear they know when hunting season starts and is over.

They simply disappear from our area during hunting season, only to return in huge numbers as soon as the sounds of gunshots stop being heard.

At first I thought this was maybe clickbait and the article would provide some additional details. But it’s pretty much as dumb as it sounds.

Basically any radio station owner with a felony is automatically placed into a hearing, and this tax fraud felony from 2008 was made available to the FCC now (from not paying taxes on some cigarette stamps, seems a trifle).

Still seems dumb on the FCCs part. It’s not like you’re guessing about the station. It’s been on the air for a decade. No hearing necessary.

I guess the first part of that is like netflix, but as you know the second part is not since netflix is 100% cash unless you want to participate some portion of that in the employee stock plan.
