Well written!

I still can't get over the fact that every (haptic!) button is replaced by some touch screen interface. I think it is pretty normal to change the air conditioning while on the road. Now it is kind of dangerous to change it because I need to look for the touch button.

Yeah it looks nice, but until I get haptic feedback from a touchscreen, please don't remove buttons/knobs which are often used while driving.

Just wanted to let you know that Google Translate is really funny sometimes.

The /de/ page translates "fork away" with "weggabeln" which is really not what you meant (although it is really really funny).

A better translation would be "erstellen Sie Ihren eigenen Fork".

Nice tool, I like it. Are there any plans to release some kind of self hosted / licensed version? We do have an internal GitLab/Bitbucket server which is not accessible from outside.

Maybe it's because I'm at work, but wherever I click on the site, it won't work - neither on Firefox, nor on Chrome.

(No TODO items are added, no sorting will be invoked, no chat message is submitted and no tabs can be changed).

Seems like a fair price to me. Will propably buy it if the time comes.

Somehow I hesitate to pay subscription based models, although I understand why this model exists.

I use a self hosted Bookstack Instance for Notes, Blog Posts and Knowledge Base plus StandardNotes for my daily diary.

Permanently trying out other stuff (basecamp, todoist, notion, etc.) but keep coming back.

I also have a self hosted Nextcloud instance, where I started to put down thoughts which won't fit in the other two (like "lessons learned this week") but eventually will be moved to Bookstack.

I'm a big Fork advocat and use it on a daily basis, but I fear they will charge for a new version at some point in the future.

I think that because it seems they founded a company "Fork" which inevitable will need to make money eventually.

edit: I'm of course willing to pay some bucks for great software if it's a fair pricing model.
