Discovered them recently. Price looks absolutely fair for what you get. It offers up to ten external addresses for sending and has a web interface so it looks like a solid Gmail alternative.

They use Tokens on top of the Ethereum Blockchain which is decentralized just as Bitcoin is.

As all clients need a password to enter a room, the messages could be encrypted with that password. There are a lot of JS libraries that could do this, e.g. Triplesec
