Simmons wrote one of my favourite short stories of all time Vanni Fucci is Alive and Well and living in Hell.

While I'm definitely not willing to put myself through any of his books after 9/11, I haven't stopped recommending Vanni Fucci as an introduction to Dan Simmons.

Rest in peace.

They run 4000 VMS as a stingy aerospace company so you can definitely assume less than a 100 physical machines.

Without further enterprise negotiations, it's 1800 per host/year. $180k max.

I don't blame Vates for refusing to chase down the company. They'll bring you way more pain as paying clients than the shameless theft they're perpetuating.

OP here. I edited the title from Partner to Lover to distinguish between business and romantic partners but I just found out "Lover" carries an incendiary connotation in American English as opposed to British English.

Not my intention at all....

Not a catholic but I kept a tab on the process because the Catholic church seemed to lean towards a very conservative candidate and i was interested to see how it pans out. Turns out we have an American Pope and he wasn't even a top contender.

I'm really disappointed that Notion acquired and killed a far better product (Skiff) just to release what is essentially an overdressed Gmail client.

There's no decent selling point over other competitors in the industry and Notion just missed the chance to tie customers into a alternative workspace suite.

This whole debacle scares me. It’s almost impossible to figure out the official reason she was flagged by the first border officer.

She had a prior denial for a work visa. Then flew into San Diego to apply the second time and got it. Apparently, she should’ve applied via her consulate instead because of the prior denial ?

Can someone explain in non legal terms why this resulted in a visa revocation and detention?

I’ve never heard of Malibal before this and now I’m sorely tempted to do some sort of business with them in order to get the entirety of my state banned too. The vendor obviously has an ego eight sizes larger than their market capacity.

This was such a fun late night read and kudos to the tuber for placing italy at risk as well. It was totally worth it.
