New comment by elygre in "War may be coming. Are we psychologically ready?"

Some people said two days, some said ten days. Russian officials thought they would get a short war, and they were wrong. Wikipedia will point you to a bunch of references.

A Russian war with Europe would not be the short war that the original poster alludes to by invoking statements from a Russian official.

Probes are not worth going to war for. Russian boots on Baltic grounds would be.

As would the special military operation. Three days short, it was promised.

I guess this sentence from the Wild readme is also relevant:

  Mold is already very fast, however it doesn't do incremental linking and the author has stated that they don't intend to.

I think it’s more about the absolutely stripped model vs the loaded one.

The basic services are more or less the same, but the hyperscalers provide hundreds of services where smaller providers have only ten.

Your quote is missing a crucial bit. The full quote is «we're not registered to do so, so we are on the wrong tracks».

You were supposed to take the last exit, to be on the local road instead of the highway. No, we cannot let you off on the highway. We are not allowed to stop here. There are no stops. We wait for another exit. Sorry.

Maybe it's ease of development, and resulting readability?

I did enjoy the example code, compared to the native javascript (both shown in the article):

  var draw = SVG().addTo('#drawing')
    , rect = draw.rect(100, 100).fill('#f06')

It feels reasonable that we should have the same detail of information for data centers.
