It's so sad that node refuses to add websocket server support.
Adding websocket would simplify stuff tremendously, as well as make deployments much, much more secure.

I very much don't think this blog post passes any sniff test for anything to be taken seriously or given much thought, it's just political agenda posting.
However, there is an interesting question on how presidential physical and mental fitness is evaluated. Does anyone have insight into what rules and regulations govern this and do they have any (preferably supreme court validated) backing?

This is just plain wrong.
An extremely simple scheme is allowing voters to enter an identifier of their choosing and displaying that with the votes publicly. This is both verifiable and anonymous.
Any issues you can come up with this scheme are also iirc pretty easily solvable.

The thing with TUIs is that, using mobile native virtual keyboards, it's apparently quite impossible to make them behave in a sane way in browsers!
I think the only reasonable option seems to be reimplementing one yourself, which is massively stupid.

Yeah the reason Google and OpenAI etc are silent is because their services do the same but they "aren't the bad guys" so if they shut up the crisis will pass.
This of course implies that the crisis itself and persecution of Musk/Grok is politically motivated, or just based on stupidity.

I think the important thing here is that governments shouldn't have the right to make life hard for ordinary people with punishments like taking away access to banks and finance system etc.
As for the US slapping European politicians etc, it's high time the people on high horses in Europe feel the shit they push on ordinary people.
