And, an increase in profit of $340 million across 13,882 stores (in the US) is less impressive.

And presumably that $8.563 billion is McDonalds corporate and the franchisees didn’t see all of that gain.

I can have a succulent Chinese meal at my table in less time than either of those big-three, and my local roast chicken joint about 30 seconds after I sit down.

Still, my “astronomically dwarfs” looks to be overstating it by a wide margin.

I would hazard a guess that the incidental methane emissions from one gas extraction field would astronomically dwarf the emissions from cow farts.
