Making promises.
When my child would ask to do something or desire something I might have said, "Not today but I promise in the future ...". Often I would never follow up on those.
Now, I am more inclined to say, "I will do my best to make that happen" or something along those lines but no promises.

A week after paying off Sprint for my iPhone 7 it stopped working, "No Service". I happen to know a repair man at Sprint so I took the phone in and he asked "Did you just pay this off?" which I replied "Yes". He sighed and said this happens all the time only when he sent the phone off to Apple to have it repaired they responded that the phone couldn't be repaired and now Sprint says I have to lease/buy a new iPhone.
I am asking the community because I think there is a larger "scam" going on with the network providers in which they don't want us to pay off our devices.
Has anyone else had any similar experiences? or is this just a device specific issue?
Thanks in advance - erjjones

I could see using this for fraud detection and then kick off a 2FA flow if it couldn't verify.
However, most biometrics aren't the best single line of verification. You still have to add a backup verification of some kind.
Examples, I was working on my car all weekend and my hands have new calluses on them and my finger print is off. I got a new keyboard and my typing pattern is different, etc.

I did something similar to this in my startup days, it was called "FORMS". This is where you take a particular focus for each day of the week.
- Monday: Finances
- Tuesday: Operations
- Wednesday: Research & Development
- Thursday: Marketing
- Friday: Sales
This allowed me to focus ON the business vs. IN the business.
