Saw another comment that said this will give Apple the opportunity to learn if people really want a thinner iPhone. I hope they learn that people don't. Curious to find out the answer.

I just can't imagine anyone wanting this? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but do people really want a thinner phone? I love my 16 Pro and plan to get the 17 Pro.
Definitely feel like thicker and longer battery is better. Heavier feels nice.

Very interesting. To me TikTok is nothing but memes and useless stuff. Whereas Instagram has been an amazing community for many of my passions. And now Threads is gaining in popularity as well (it really feels like hope scrolling in comparison to X's doom scrolling). I wish it wasn't owned by Meta, but if TikTok actually gets banned I would say good riddance. Something about Instagram/Threads is just perfect to me.

Living in Southern California, I like to go on walks with my family in the evenings or mornings, but I couldn't imagine having to take public transportation or having to walk everywhere. It seems picturesque, but it also sounds terrible in the sense that you can't just get in your car, go some place, park in a parking lot, go shopping, and then head back home, all on your own terms.
I visited London a long time ago and the public transportation is amazing and it I did want to walk to see the city, which I did. But I imagine even living there, I would want my own car to be in control of my life.
So, visiting a place is good for walking. But living in a place is not. At least that's my experience.

That is probably how I would feel as a parent as well. Though, just to put it out there, if you're a donor your retained kidney grows and makes up for the one that was removed. Also, you're given priority on the waiting list in the future should you ever need one yourself.

This probably isn't a viable solution for my father who has been on dialysis for 2 years and is in ESRD. I am a candidate for a kidney transplant for him (I went through the whole process), but he has other issues that have been preventing him from having another surgery. I'm pretty scared to do the procedure, too.
But really glad to see progress being made here. Hopefully, also, the world works toward improving diet and starts eliminating metabolic diseases like Type-2 Diabetes and Heart Disease.

I've been making a game using GBDK (C) and a little engine called ZGB for the past several years, but the work that Chris and the team have done on GB Studio makes me want to switch to the platform. I'll still finish my game using C because I'm so far into development now there's no point in starting over, but if I was starting fresh, GB Studio would be the way to go.
That said, I'm glad I made my game in C because I've learned so much more about coding. I feel like I get better every day. Not sure I would have that same experience using GB Studio.
One day I want to try using ASM...

The company I work for uses ChatGPT, StableDiffusion, ElevenLabs, and lots of other AI tools every day now. We make ads and use it to generate scripts, create "stock" photos, fake voice over, etc. We even have started training our own models to match branding guidelines and whatnot.
I also use ChatGPT and SD to help me with my personal hobby of game development. It's good at analyzing code snippets, refactoring, and SD is good for inspiration.
These are really useful tools and it's only the beginning.

This will be a losing battle for artists. Anyone can train any data they want. It's the equivalent of a human learning to draw someone else's art style or take photos the same as a famous photographer. There is no stopping it now and it's only going to get better and easier. Video is getting close to being just as accessible as image or text generation. Regardless of how you feel about all this, there's no stopping it. It's the future.
