Yeah, Offentlighetsprincipen is quite Swedish, isn’t it? I like it. Not sure it was made for the 21st century though.

Well said. I read this as copium, too. Phrases like

> perpetual sprints

doesn’t reek of love. Burn-out is real. I also have a really hard time taking p-doomers serious at all. It’s hard to argue with a random subjective number…

Love it. High recognition factor. The only things that matter this side of the AI-revolution is window management

> I don't have a single fucking clue how MacOS populates this window

Nobody does, but it’s provocative! Gets the people going!

I’ve leaned into Aerospace for window management, herdr for terminal and good ol’ Chrome for browsing.

I put my hope to Superlogical by the Ghostty-guy to solve all my MUX problems

I still don’t understand why it wouldn’t be able to navigate an API or CLI the same way it does mcp. But honestly, I don’t care anymore. The agents are so intelligent it doesn’t matter tbh.

MCP makes my boss happy so I’m happy

When I worked as a props assistant (movie set), I required approval for my overtime. I remember my boss once saying ”Linus, it feels like your inventing your own overtime” (he was not wrong). Is that what’s happening in platform teams worldwide?

At my last company it took ~4 weeks to get a storage container because they were so overwhelmed with work and blocking precisely the whole company.

Its all fun and games until you get cancer. I had cancer (and a few drinks) myself, it sucked. Can you ever be certain it was caused by an unhealthy lifestyle? No. Probability and causality is weird tbh.

Makes me wonder what kind of footgun we are talking about here — is it classic, smoking, standard or vanilla?

Yeah, I remember struggling to even post a question until I gave up. Calling it a community sounds like nostalgia.

New comment by estetlinus in "Plan mode is dead"

+1 on your critic. I have tried to solve it by making plans folder a git folder, and using tools like Hunk and Tuicr but it’s awkward…

I have two years of copy pasta from Reddit pre-AI. Does that count?

I urge you to have a look at tools like tuicr and hunk. It’s a missing component in the chat. I really want a proper chat interface, leave comments on the code and have them replied to. No clue how to implant it tho, it’s a hard UX problem IMO

From what I’ve learned about Jev I feel it’s just a very successful marketing campaign to developers not fully understanding data science (and deep learning). It’s nothing new, been around since 2022? Being local is an extreme advantage lol.
