If the AI (or the person) ran into a non-obvious constraint, or some externality, or there’s a plan that just isn’t implemented yet- then the comment wouldn’t be able to be divined by the AI. But yeah just pointing the AI at something and saying “write me docs” will get you something at best equally good as what’s going to be available.

I’ve left so many PR reviews in the last few months that are essentially “this looks good but delete 80% of the comments.”

Ah, so literally a word.
I was thinking you could probably get a fair bit of accessibility by using
s for your text rendering- or by maintaining a separate, hidden outline of DOM elements mirroring what’s on screen.

I assume this has been investigated but it's difficult to believe this stopped at one pair of critics. There are plenty of people online critical of eBay. Were they running similar campaigns on anyone else?
> Seven members of eBay’s security team, including former police captains, “worked together to harass and intimidate the Steiners”, according to prosecutors.
I hope someone's looking into the careers of the "former police captains" here. Again, difficult to believe they just woke up one day and decided to fly cross-country to vandalize someone's house with no prior history of intimidation.

if a government spokesperson provided that statement 20 years ago the story would be about the unhinged partisan DOT spokesperson, what maniac hired them, why hasn't the whole office been fired yet, and how a bizarre grievance-based policy ever got out the door in the first place. Now the media gets crazier stuff than this on an hourly basis and they just shrug.

Aren't you in any way concerned that you can't give a real example of the sort of thing you're talking about, and have to make one up? This should be the wake-up call that makes you re-evaluate your priors.
The reality is that reactionaries often describe "useless" scientific endeavors like "condoms for worms" that end up being the only thing stopping parasitic screwworms from infesting the US cattle herd, which will end up costing us hundreds of millions of dollars to resolve- and spike the already-high cost of beef for decades.
