Imagine being an unsuspecting passenger in a Waymo as it goes straight into a pedestrian at full speed. That possibility alone gives me pause to ever use an FSD service.

You have to think of YouTube and other platforms as a mechanism for distribution, not a source of truth.

A (very) mildly interesting tidbit...

I used to do IT for a vendor that injection-molded low durometer plastic washers for Zildjian. They placed a single large PO annually.

99% of the population would identify these as 'rubber' washers. Nope, they're polyurethane.

During early smartphone era they spend most of the resources trying to write an OS

Most of Mozilla’s resources have always been spent on Firefox. There was never a cycle where most of Mozilla’s resources were spent on FirefoxOS.

But they need to figure out a way to generate revenue rather than relying on Google.

The percentage of revenue from Google has fallen every year since 2016. Mozilla Corporation had a 33% profit margin in 2022 (The latest data on Wikipedia).

It’s a fantastic business model.

I’ve had a great customer service experience with Amazon Pharmacy, too.

Oddly enough, their non-insurance/Prime price is more affordable than my Bronze-level insurance plan.

I’m not sure I’d have a good rebuttal for “Why would I use anything the Feds recommend?”

Average monthly income for Argentines is a few hundred dollars a month. The largest private employer in Argentina is headquartered in Uruguay.

Argentina is essentially living a Hunger Games reality. An economy designed to solely benefit the capital. Everyone else exists to extract resources for the capital.
