They way at least FB is using a monorepo is very different than any kind of monorepo most people imagine. It's not just about tooling, git itself could never handle it. I am all about using a monorepo but Google and FB having one is not the an argument for it.

it definitely does for audiobooks, hence you can't buy audiobooks through the app.

Not true, I have been accessing remotely my BB Terminal since 2012. It's just an application that runs on any windows machine.

if you are going for a raspberry I would suggest using it for pihole instead. That would solve the ad issue for all your devices
