<p>Well, the main difference is that code describes predictable behaviour, whereas prompts are just a precursor to a general ‘direction’ of behaviour which depends highly on the model (and supporting augmentations) that is ingesting it.<p>By the way, vscode extensions are part of the reason I moved to Zed… so trust is still important even in the age of llms</p>

<p>Actually it is a shame. It doesn’t “polish” it, it turns it into generic irritating slop, with the same style all AI slop is written in. It screams “the person who made this is lazy”. It is frankly an insult to the reader.<p>Maybe English isn’t your first language so you don’t appreciate that, but I promise if it was done in your native language it would piss you off.</p>
