Very interesting. I got this vaccine (needs to be taken twice) last year. Since then my back pain linked to possible beginning bechterews, which I have had for about a year, is gone and has stayed away for 2 months now. Could be unrelated, but it is so pronounced that I have been looking for an explanation. Very happy with it.

I used MariaDB in Azure, but got notified it was retired. Anyway, migrated to sqlite.

Memory is expensive. In the cloud especially. Using a succinct structure could enable cheaper computing for specific tasks. This benefits everyone.

There seems to be some copy pasta in the FAQ on if any node can be contacted for writes or reads, the paragraph on reads mentions writes.

The same (pros use less, consumers pay for more) goes for internet connectivity. A techie knows he will never need or saturate more than, say, 200mbps. While a consumer will see the "200/500/1G" offer and opt for the middle.

This 20kg figure sounds wildly inaccurate. Fish feed is in general 75% plantbased. It is also very efficient (in terms of conversion rate to growth). Could this 20kg figure be decades old?

Haskell added a function popCount in https://hackage.haskell.org/package/base-4.18.0.0/docs/Data-... some years ago to allow easy use of this operation where present.

Most interesting functions use other functions. I did not find how they solve using existing functions, avoiding duplication of basic functionality, but also handling how things might break if an underlying function is independently updated. Does anyone know how they solve this, it is an interesting problem?

This is so cool, a nice push towards low cost repairs and de facto "right to repair" for hobbyists. The MX5 is also a cool and inexpensive test vehicle. Hope more models are added.

Over 20 years later, Guantanamo is still here. While most of the detainees are surely there for a reason, due process has not been observed. This will be a blemish on US history for a long time.

Different areas of the world have different trust levels. In northern Europe nobody would think twice about letting in the repairman, we trust each other. It is a great place to live.

They did the same with rain sensor a few years ago. Result: auto rain wipe is still in beta in 2023!
