A handful of people connected to the "Maritime World" have reached out to me regarding cybersecurity and their concern of developi certain systems being connected through Internet. I have little to no experience working in the maritime world, and I haven't worked professionally with cybersec other than hardening of operating systems following various benchmarks.
I want to learn more about infosec/cybersec in general, and especiall in the maritime.
I therefore humbly ask for your experience, advice or external resources.

Hi, I'm looking for a way to rotate SSH-keys in an infrastructure. I have no experience when it comes to rotating SSH-keys.
Today I use SSH Key-based authentication to authenticate to my servers, tho I have been wondering if I should take a look SSH Certificate-based authentication, or if it is just an "idea" that seems nice.
This is far from a well structured question, but I appreciate anyone who contributes.
Thanks.

Question from a naive kiddo; When the PRs are this big, what are the steps taken to "get it in" the master ? Just blindly accept based on CD/CI jobs, or break it down to walk through every change ? "Ref: supply chain attacks"

Tbh. For me it's like a personal and professional deadline. You expect to learn/to be good at something in a short period of time, while it's expected of you to deliver good quality (consulting, product, support or whatever it may be), and this "cannot" be done unless you know your shit.
Like mym1990 pointed out, no one likes to be new/bad at something, or maybe that's just me.
