I use Karpathy's LLM wiki pattern to run my work. Raw sources go in a vault, Claude maintains a knowledge base on top. Works great at my desk, breaks down when I'm on the go.
pocket-ingest fixes it for me. iOS Shortcut records a voice memo, transcribes it, saves a .txt to iCloud. Claude Code picks it up automatically next time I open a session. No servers, no apps, no API keys. Five minute setup.
Right now it's one-way: phone to computer. I think there's something more interesting in a two-way communication.
Built the simplest version first to see if anyone else is interested in this!
Super excited to see what you think :)

When C1 changes from 7 to 14, that’s a scalar change.
The least-assumption, information-preserving update is to scale both inputs by the same factor.

I love the idea of the product! I would trust your solution to be the best for very simple use cases but not for multistep or ReAct agents. Any thoughts / insights on that?
I think the demo could be more exciting, the voice of the person talking sounds like he's bored haha

I’m applying for the W25 batch, and I wanted to share my application with friends for feedback. Since there wasn’t an easy way to do this, I built one myself.
Also, for anyone at YC reading this: could you consider changing the “Finish application” button to “Edit application”? I once spent 10 minutes searching for how to keep editing because I assumed “Finish application” meant submitting it.
Edit: I feel stupid, this has the same functionality as the preview application button, don't install, I will remove it :joy:

Hey HN, one of the co-founders of Upmate here!
We kicked off Upmate to scratch our own itch: keeping mobile app users in the loop about new features without messing around with native code.
Our inspiration? The awesome WhatsNewKit [https://github.com/SvenTiigi/WhatsNewKit]. But we needed something more flexible—something that could be updated remotely.
As mobile startup veterans, we've been burned too many times by ridiculous pricing plans and limitations. We were fed up with all the overpriced, restrictive options out there for in-app messaging.
So, we built Upmate. Why? Because the alternatives were just too damn expensive:
Braze: Custom pricing (we’ve seen it hit $100k/year )
Intercom: $10k/month
Survicate: $100/month for just 100 answers?!
In the future we want to expand into making templates for the most common use cases for in-app messages:
- Ask app not to track
- Ask for push notification
- Send marketing promotions
- User interviews prompt
- .... much more :)
We are trying to figure out if we can build a SAAS out of this, what do you think? Right now everything is virtually free for us so we would be super happy to offer an extended free plan for the early adopters

Hello, fifi here. I made this app because I was super tired of my friends not shipping. They were always talking about what they would do and then proceeed to never do it.
Funnily enough I got half of them motivated to accomplish what they set out to but the other half just admitted they're not so driven.
Anyway, have a try and let me know your thoughts :)
