I have seen this way to often in other areas. That is the push here as well AI can sort through it. Too many people are held to account for not meeting what amounts to made up numbers.

I generally like having these systems in place, because I find when dealing with certain vendors and businesses that following these helps me weed out many scammers when dealing with large amounts of money. Every transfer required a discussion with the teller asking questions about transfers and if the transaction is suspicious. Yes, criminals will find a way, but I find it provides me an easier screening to ensure some businesses are more likely legit.

I don't release because of the minefield. I do it because it's fun. The simulation runs and other tasks often I kick to the cloud for the larger compute needs.

I have worked in the trades as an electrician and then became an estimator/Project Manager. Most are small businesses that are barely hanging on. It is often not a path to wealth. Many of the smaller businesses are being bought up by private equity now to drive up prices. The tradesmen are not getting wealthy and typically will not become wealthy. Licensing a business is different than the license a tradesman gets. Rules vary by state and are often require the approval of your would be competitors, regardless of demonstrated skill and time in the trade.

I don't think it's the economy or anything else. All this seems like rationalizing to me not an understanding of what happened. Trump was able to motivate more people to vote than Harris was. I have yet to meet anyone who truly rationally made a choice that they had not already made to begin with other than after the fact rationalization. It is all about perception and what the other person believes. Reality and facts do not matter as much as we would like them to. There is no interest in anyone want to actually change their views. What argument or evidence would actually cause you to change your view? It would take extraordinary evidence for me to change my vote. I suspect that is the same for most voters, it's more of an issue of who can motivate better.

You still have to move. It's the same effect as evicting someone. It often takes months to find and get into a rental in my area. Then you get hit with first, last, and deposit which takes time to save up for. Moving costs are also on top of that.

I was looking at the prospect of renting out a second house that I have. The risks with a bad tenant are too high for me. I fully understand why a large number of people are not rented too. The risk is staggering unless you are well funded. I can't afford six months of mortgage payments to evict someone or the potential of the tenant to trash the place. My mortgage payment is quite low comparatively speaking, but there isn't enough gross profit to take the risk. Income subsidized units in this area leave too little in the incomes of most people to be anything other than teetering on the edge of financial ruin. The housing market is fundamentally broken. (I am speaking from Southeastern US perspective).
