This question has been asked thousands of times since Clawd came around. Answer: it's an agent with tools, which means you define the boundaries and imagination is the limit. How is useful to you is defined by you. There might be lots of use cases for which you find it useful or none at all. It's subjective.

Because when it's good, it's really good - Cursor doesn't work as well for me and also I prefer the TUI experience. If anything, the real alternative is OpenCode.

I found GPT-5 to be very much less sycophantic than other models when it comes to this stuff, so your mention of 'everything looking great yay good job high-five' surprises me. Using it via Codex CLI it often questions things. Gemini 2.5 Pro is also good on this.

What about involving lawyers? It happened once that Google banned my Adsense account and didn't pay $30k, which were the earnings of the launch month of my website. They didn't provide any reason at all. I gave the case to a lawyer and after one year they apologized, reinstated the account and paid what was due.

Yep, the victim promptly migrated. Another good alternative is fly.io, or even DigitalOcean with Dokku (no free tier here tho, but it can be as cheap as $5/month)
