There were two:
1) When I was testing one of the early coding agents, I gave it admin keys to a fresh AWS account and it configured everything beyond just building a demo site. That was, "oh shit, tool-use is going to be the killer feature of GenAI."
2) When I was still skeptical of the system as just a more-or-less dumb statistical predictor of the next token/word, I read the argument that even if it is a statistical predictor, the fact that it can reason means the intelligence is necessarily baked into the statistical model somewhere. That was "oh shit, intelligence is actually modeled."

I built runCLAUDErun because I got tired of manually running the same Claude Code tasks every day.
It's free and it runs locally.
What it does: It's a macOS app that schedules your local Claude Code to run on any schedule you want - daily, weekly, or custom cron expressions.
My use case: Every night at 11pm, it automatically summarizes my Obsidian daily notes.
But, it can schedule any Claude task - code reviews, data processing, report generation, web research, file organization, etc...
Technical details:
 - Native macOS app (Electron + React)
 - Uses launchd for scheduling (proper macOS citizen)
 - Stores tasks/runs locally in SQLite
 - Wraps the claude CLI to capture output and track runs
 - 100% local - no servers, no accounts required
Why not just use cron or launchd? You could! But this gives you:
 - GUI for managing tasks
 - History of all runs with output
 - No terminal/cron knowledge needed
 - Easy enable/disable of tasks
It's free and open source. Would love people to try it, test it, and give me feedback.
Get it here: https://runclauderun.com
--
What use cases do you have for repetitive AI tasks?

The only reason this exists is because AI coding turns intrusive thoughts into product launches overnight.
In reality, this was a good toy project to test out Cloudflare's platform. I've traditionally used AWS / Netlify / and a few others. Cloudflare was pretty easy to set up and they offer at-cost .ai domains. $140 for 2 years... painful for Nanna, but hey, boosts that valuation multiple by at least 2x.
I'll probably use this as a project to experiment with some other things, like some of the new payments / billing startups being built for AI-specific use cases.

Yes, quite literal!
Ciabatta aligns quite nicely with the pomodoro, requiring being left alone for several 25 minute intervals of rise between folds.
Would love to see photos when you make it!

This is broken down into pomodoros where you do real work for 25 minutes, then tend to the dough during your 5 minute breaks!
Not sure why the first one got flagged. Reposting with a matching title.
