It's busybox underneath so you can hack on it but you can't run full apps in the Android sense.

I bought one in July, I chose Kobo because it's hackable and you can ssh in. So far I've had as much fun with that as with reading.

What stood out to me was this: "By a 27-5 vote". That number seemed really high, so I looked it up - this isn't a city or a county or some kind of private tax distict - its was the nation's first city-county government.
