A history of technology, edited by Singer, several volumes and many authors. It's old historiographically (from the Fifties) but very detailed and comprehensive; I have a recent Italian paperback edition but you should be able to find it in English easily enough. Lots of fascinating details.
I'll see if I can come up with something with more up to date scholarship / better pictures (the work above is effectively but simply illustrated).

You're probably thinking of a 75%, which is a questionable layout, yes. A typical TKL keyboard is spaced like a fullsize, just without the numpad cluster.
Smaller layouts (even 40%) have their advantages in minimizing how much you have to move your hands and fingers but there are tradeoffs (and a learning curve due to the necessary layers in the smallest ones).

The rest isn't particularly nice either but I would describe it more as "suboptimal decisions" than lack of effort.
They're not bad keyboards but you can get superior custom tenkeyless or even fullsize ones (if you must) without even having to deal with group buys now.

This is an abuse of statistics, because you're not considering the likelyhood that a random 15-time felon killed someone, but the likelyhood that a specific 15-time felon that was accused of killing a specific person actually did it.
If you were trying to pick a realistic scapegoat he would have been a great candidate.

No. Tiny sensor, can't use grad NDs, wide angle camera even worse, relies on intense computational methods for dynamic range that will destroy the specific light and time character of landscapes.
Making prints, especially large prints, requires high technical quality images that phones can't provide.

"Flagship" cameras besides the Sony A1 aren't all-rounders, they're historically fast and rugged big bodies for shooting sports. The Z9 was very forward looking in this category in 2021 (shutterless design, speedy sensor readout) and is still very competitive.

My favourite of his pieces is Open Field Vertical Elevations, which incidentally was erected in the fields outside the residence of a collector who also recently passed, near where I live in the middle of nowhere, Tuscany.
In person, viewed while immersed in its necessary context of landscape, it is visually powerful and moving. It is also a link to the greater world outside our narrow vales and to a cultural history of patronage of the arts.
I understand that the attitudes here are mostly skeptical of contemporary art, but it really goes too far in most cases. Serra wasn't Hirst.

Not commonly in my (Tuscan) experience but there is regional variation, in some areas (mountains, some northern areas) it's used; the French use a lot of it.
I would avoid using it as a partial substitute of olive oil, however. Use butter if the recipe calls for it.
