I use AI all the time for coding. I also just don't care anymore and I was tired of coding (or building products) before AI. I think I like having a functioning tool more than knowing what goes into these days.

I know that sounds like pessimism, but I'm really content right now with ai and coding.

I don't tell my friends I like using the Google photo remix because that's kind of shameful, but it's so gender affirming haha

So many, probably pumping out 2-3 apps per month. I sometimes I'll make one that serves a purpose for one weekend. Or answers one question. Others I use every day.

Calorie tracker. Orienteering map generator. Help me track different loops for a 12 hour endurance race. A photo pixel location to paper canvas location in cm tool. Finding the geographic center of countries to settle a debate. Password generator. P2P webrtc texting app. Games. Ways to interact with my art. My personal website and more

If they can travel that far with so few resources, surely they have some good ideas and can get things done - why do we want to discourage that? If people can come freely, they can leave freely too.

I support open borders (yes open borders) because I support human rights. Migration is natural and human. Limiting migration limits people's ability to improve their circumstance. Closed borders also limit society's ability to benefit from migranta because they are stuck in an unproductive situation.

I try to close things the moment I'm not using them or the open tab confuses me in some capacity

I'm my experience, yes. But on my team ai has helped the lowest performers. But it's allowed my best performers to build too much too fast.

Turns out I think I always liked the end product more than getting there. I would kind of hate having to only write code by hand for a paycheck again.

I still write code by hand because sometimes it's faster and cheaper.

I don't install apps unless it's for an event or something. I just make my own to fit my needs. I can get a functional pwa out in about a day or two now.
